Electricity

did you know?

Energy use can contribute a lot to a household’s carbon footprint

The generation of electricity that powers homes can emit a significant amount of greenhouse gases, especially if the energy comes from non-renewable sources.

In general, the bigger the household is, both in terms of area and members, the bigger the carbon footprint. It is also worth noting that appliances that heat or cool a home can also account for almost half of a household's electricity consumption.
